It's A Pigg Christmas!

It's Officially December and Christmas Spirit is to be found almost everywhere! Ameba Pigg recently had an update for Christmas season. There's a new Park where you can buy all sorts of CHristmas Decorations and clothes as well. You can even gift your friends a scarf or two. But it doesn't end there! There's also a new game in the area! If you love games go there! Check the new area out for yourself!

There are also updates for Fishing and Pigg Mini Games. Plus, a Scratch Card and Daily gift for the Holidays are also available now! It's going to be a fun Pigg Christmas for us, and for most of us it's our first! Happy Holidays!

Farewell Casino Area

Ameba Pico Virtual Page posted a status update last Monday (Nov. 26, 2012):

I know all have enjoyed playing at Casino Area, especially during the time they started making the "challenges" on Slot and Blackjack Areas. It was also the time where Pico Players started to gain a lot of Casino Dollars. And it's all the start where other Picos tries to do cheat just to gain a lot of money.

On my page, Bluewy and Friends, I started the countdown for it. And in this post, I will share my own experiences/ memories about it.

Countdown No. 3: DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that this building seen at Hotel Frontage is the "Pigg Casino". I just observed recently when I zoomed in the picture. Hahaha! The building looks elegant right? No wonder we can't go on that area, atleast we could sight  a view of it.

Countdown No. 2: DREAM ITEMS

VIP Shop sell a of very good and elegant items, but the bad part is not all of us can afford it. Well, this is my dream items. I only gained about 3 or 4M C$, and I spent it to purchase Black Escargot and White Tiger and now as you can see, I don't have enough. Sighs*

• High Class Escargot Wheels - I wanna be lazy and just sit while traveling using this ride, but Hjey never experienced it. Tss!
• Blue Car - Waaaaaaaaaah! Everybody knows I love Blue and I hate it I never had the chance to own this lovely car. Huhu!
• Black Tiger - I have a White Tiger, but I want this too. But Idk why, it's 2 million C$ much expensive. The only difference is the color right. So why, so expensive than the White one? What's the reason behind it? I always wonder. Hmmm?
• Piano - I know this piano is just for decoration purposes, it would be epic if we could really play on this one, right? I want to play Piano so badly, too bad even Hjey can't do it. Poor me!

Countdown No. 1: HOTEL FRONTAGE AND CASINO SHOP

• HOTEL FRONTAGE - Have you seen the amazing Las Vegas Fountain Show? I hope you did. If you haven't seen it yet, you just have to stay there for a couple minutes and wait till they start the show. It's really amazing! Well, if you haven't experience it at Pico, you can do it at Pigg.
• SHOP LOUNGE -Everybody loves this area, especially those Pico who have enough casino dollars to spend just to purchase all this VIP items. Elegant and expensive indeed, haha!

Final Countdown: CASINO GAMES

• SLOT - One of my favorite game, coz it is easy to play and before Pico went crazy, it's so easy to clear challenge. I will surely miss my favorite lucky seat. How about you, where's your lucky seat?
• BLACKJACK - Who hate all the dealers at BJ? Well, me! Especially this curly kinky yellowed hair fat scumbag guy, I always lose or end up
• ROULETTE - I just play this occasionally, I just bet on those numbers I feel like I'm winning but I end up losing. Tss! But the two lovely girl dealers seems to be nice compared to those two scumbag guys. Haha!
• BACCARAT - I don't understand the game, I just play and luckily I won sometimes. Haha!

Tutorial: How to add buddies in Pigg

Many of you have been requesting how to add buddies in Pigg, since there is no Add Buddy button seen. It's pretty easy actually! Here is a quick tutorial on how to add Buddies in Pigg, and remove buddies too.

First, you have to look for a buddy. Click on BUDDIES BUTTON,

and then click on the pink button below to search the username of someone you want to add. Now Click on the BUDDY ICON and then click the button 

and you're request is sent!Or, if you see someone from the Pico World, click on the person, and on the bottom left side, there's a blue text. Click on that, add a message

Or, if you see someone from the Pico World, click on the person, and on the bottom left side, there's a blue text. Click on that, add a message and click on the Pink Button. THAT EASY!

AmePico Farewell Party Photos

AmePico Held a Farewell Rally in Pico World today (November 24) with Pico Player to celebrate and have fun in Pico with AmePico for the last time before we completely move on to Pigg. Let's Make a Great Town in Pigg World! 楽しい街を作ろう！

In Ameba Pigg, you don't only get to enjoy the Colorful Japanese Virtual world, but you also play spectacular and time-wasting Mini Games alongside the Main Game.

And Just recently, Cyberagent Japan released a new Mini Game entitiled "Pigg World" (or Piguwarudo in Japanese) which lets you create your Mini City and make it grow, just like the Titles Cityville and Simcity Social. We think it's currently in Open Beta since it has not been published and advertised in the Main Pigg Game. Although you can actually Play It Right now at This Link.

I myself have been playing the game for a few days and It's a really good game, but all games have their cons. Just for instance in this game, The energy and Money system is really corrupt, since in just a few minutes, you're out of Energy! Yes, you can buy energy drinks which can boost your Energy for AmeGold. We all know we cannot buy AG yet since Pigg is only targeted to Japanese Audiences (For Now, that is). The UI is easy to learn and the graphics are Kawaii, similar to the graphics of Ameba Pigg istelf. So if you like playing City Managing/Building Games and Chibi Characters, Pigg is definitely for you.

A Warning to all English Pigg Users

A Hacker has been wandering around Pigg recently and is hacking Pigg Users particularly users from Pico. The hacker is Filipino and was a hacker back in Pico World. He hacks your Pico first, claiming he'll give you AmebaGold. Then, he gets your Pigg info and hacks that too! 2 victims! and you don't want to be one of his victims. We hope that you are aware that there are hackers in Pigg too. considering the fact that majority of Pico Users have transitioned to its Japanese Version, you must always be careful. NEVER GIVE YOUR PASSWORD to any user in Pigg who convinces you to give them your information.  Have a safe Gameplay experience.

Tutorial: How to Join and Leave Community Group

Are you planning to Join a Group in Pigg, or perhaps want to leave one but you don't know how? We'll show you how! It's really easy to do and you can do it in just a few steps! It only seems hard because it's all in Japanese. Follow the steps below.

HOW TO JOIN A COMMUNITY GROUP

Step One: Click on the Buddy who is in the Group you want to join in. and then, click on the Badge of the Group you want to be in. For instance in this picture, It's a K-pop Lovers group.
Step Two: A new Window will appear showing information about the group. Click on the Left Text with a Person wearing a green shirt. this will direct you to the Headquarters of the group.
Step Three: Once Inside the Room, there wil be a set of buttons on the Upper Left Side of the screen. Click on the Pink Button. This pop up a request to join the group.
Step Four: Add an optional Message why you want to join the group or you could just leave it blank. Afterwards, click the PINK BUTTON below, which represents SEND, just like in Pico World. Wait for the Group Owner's approval and you're done!



IMPORTANT NOTE
On the Groups Tab, it shows you the pending group requests. If you exceed the limit requests [which is 10] you cannot request to join anymore groups unless you cancel one or more existing pending invites. To view your pending Requests, press the COMMUNITY BUTTON. (It also shows you groups you are in and settings)

HOW TO LEAVE A COMMUNITY GROUP

Step One: Click on the Groups Button which is located on the lower right corner of the screen along with the other buttons (Just like in Pico)

Step Two: Click on Orange Picture as shown above.

Step Three: Clicking the Orange Image leads you to this: A list of groups you are in. Choose the Group you want to get out from, and on the side there are two buttons: One with a Person wearing a Blue Shirt and a Card. CLICK ON THE  Card Below.

Step Four: It will show you the Settings of the group (which can only be edited by Gold Ribbon Members). On the upper right corner there is a Sad Faced person. CLICK ON THAT BUTTON.

Step FIve: CLick on the PINK BUTTON which represents YES. And you're out of that nasty group!

Hello, AmePico People [Or should I say, AmePigg!]. It is really sad that Pico will be closing. All the memories, fun times, and the ag we've earned and spent will be all gone. But don't worry. We can still make MORE memories by going to Ameba PIgg, the Japanese equivalent of Ameba Pico. Pigg is a lot cooler and it is definitely WAY BETTER than Pico. The only problem is that It's IN JAPANESE! YIKES! But have no fear for We will help each other as we play.
