IDummy, the first evictee of season three, sat with us after he recently got evicted from the famous Big Brother Ameba Pigg House.
1. Now that you're evicted, are you still going to be watching the series?
"Yes of course. I'll be watching Big Brother and see what they are doing in the house. I will also vote online who I think is deserving. IDUMZ IS WATCHING YOU."
2. Do you think you did anything wrong? What do you think got you evicted?
"Nah, I'm 100% sure that I didn't do anything wrong in the house. I got evicted because they know that I'm a strong opponent and they want to evict the doubles first."
3. Would you change anything (strategy, alliances, friends, etc.) if it were to save your spot in the game?
"No, but alliances? Yes. I just knew that you can't trust someone in the house (except kawaii Kyu). The one you know as your alliance might be your enemy. So you should be careful in choosing an alliance."
4. What can you tell Kayla and Kaylee that were beside you during the nominations?
"Me and Fred are supporting both of them throughout the game and wishing them the very best in the house. Go Pink Team!"
IDummy's role in the game is not over yet! He (and possibly Fred) will be deciding factors on who wins Big Brother by the end! They're the first members of the Jury House.
You can watch how it all ended for IDummy here, or you can visit our Facebook page or our Website for more information regarding the game.

What's Happening (January 18-February 2)
1. It was a huge let down when the Pigg staff decided to have this option only for people with Japanese phone numbers. But now, it's BACK! You can now private message your friends through the Pigg phone again! Thank you Ameba Pigg!
2 Pigg University - A lot of people hate school. But Pigg school? Now that's a school some would want to go to! Visit https://www.facebook.com/ pigguniv for more info regarding enrollment and news.
3. Ameba News has another upcoming comic series entitled "Switch". This particular comic has a valentines twist into it. Find out more about it by visiting their blog http://ame-news.blogspot.com/
4. Big Brother hints you about a twist on the upcoming Season of AmePico Big Brother: There will be houseguests, and there will be special ones. Compare this two a "buy one get one" offer. Big Brother 3 starts April 2014!

DumDums' Ameba Pigg New User Interface Concept Art
Hey! This is DumDums and I made something out of boredom and out of nothing better to do. This is a UI (User Interface) Concept art for our beloved game Ameba Pigg. The Style is flat and Windows Metro-Ish and it adds new features to the game itself. (This is based on a full screen)
Detail A :: Hide-able New Events - The Things you see on the left part of your screen (usually unnecessary) are now smaller and can be hidden to the right.
HERE IS THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT HAND DRAWN BY ME. YOU CAN VIEW IT AT MY ONLINE PORTFOLIO iamtrebla.carbonmade.com/
:: Quick Overview
The Style of the UI I made is largely influenced by Pet Society and The Sims UIs (The Color Blue Theme).
:: LOWER LEFT DETAILS
Detail A :: The Classic Chat Bar - You still have access to the Chat History and Emoticons (Clicking on the speech bubble pops up a list of emoticons available like the ones we have now).
Detail B :: The Actions Tab - The White box will show a quick preview of what action would be done if you click on it. It can be set to any action. To change, clicking on the arrow beside it will pop up all of your actions and you may either click them to activate or double click to set as default action (to be shown in white area).
Detail C :: Room Navigator - Nothing new, just a different style.
:: LOWER RIGHT DETAILS
Detail A :: The Menu Buttons (Light Blue Button is Selected Button)
1. Play Mode (Triangular Button) - Can either show you your house, or show your houses' settings. It can also show you your pocket items and other houses you can own (new feature).
2. World (Map with Pin Button) - Equivalent to the Travel Button in Pigg.
3. Furniture - Your furniture, and shop for furniture.
4. Wardrobe - Your clothes, and shop for clothes.
5. Buddies - Your Buddies List and Circle of Buddies List (New Feature).
6. Events and Games - Fishing, Casino, Events, Your Clubs, Music Rooms, Etc.
Detail B :: Profile Details
Instead of the annoying Pop-up profile we have at the moment, a permanent profile set permanently to the side will remove clutter and give a modern look to the game.
1. Heart: Props
2. Envelope: Inbox/Send Message
3. Green Arrow: Visit House
4. Yellow Plus: Add as buddy
5. Blue Circles: Other Options (Opens a small box atop of it with options such as Description, Country, Block, Report, Gift, Kick Out of House/Group, etc.)
6. Username: Copy and Paste username
Detail C :: Profile Photo
Connected to Detail B, this will show the photo of the Pigg you click, including you. The Circular backdrop is customizable with 10+ colors available to choose; either match it with the clothes you're wearing or pick any color you want.)
:: UPPER LEFT DETAILS
Detail A and B :: Currency - Gummies ($) and AmeGold (G) and Buy more buttons (+)
Detail C :: Room Information - Room Title is partially visible next to an arrow that when hovered, drops a box below it that shows House description, Owner, Last decorated, and the Pico feature bulletin board. Other options such as "Ask for Control" will allow other players to control another player's house. Report room Button for obscene and rule violating rules is also present.
Detail D :: Main House Controls - Plus Button adds the room to your favorite rooms (Cannot add your own house/rooms). Heart Button replaces Ring, and 08 (Number) represents how many people are in the room you're in at the moment. Click the number will drop down a box that shows everyone's name and avatar thumbnail, allowing you to kick or give anyone control with ease.
:: UPPER RIGHT DETAILS
Detail A :: Time of the Day - We've had Day, Sunset, and Night for a long time now in Pigg, but this new feature allows people to check the exact "time of the day" with visuals such as A sun, clouds, and a moon. There are Seven stages (as opposed to what we have now which is 3): Sunset, Early Morning, Morning, Afternoon, Sunset, Evening, Night. You can also alter the time of your specific room if you'd like, but with a price of 200 AmeGold (realistic gameplay. not everything's free in Pigg anyway).
Detail B :: Season Tab - Find out what season the room you're in is in with this new feature. There are quite a few seasons (Spring is free and default). You can change and purchase Seasons, from realistic ones like Summer and Winter, to fantasy based ones like Polluted Air, Outer Space, and Fairy Wind, etc.) The arrow lets you choose between purchased seasons.
Detail C :: Info - Friend Requests, Pigg News Blog, and Inbox
Detail D :: Settings - Classic Settings, Volume, SFX, Hi or Low Q graphics option, etc.
:: CENTRAL RIGHT DETAILS
Detail A :: Hide-able New Events - The Things you see on the left part of your screen (usually unnecessary) are now smaller and can be hidden to the right.
Detail B :: Camera Controls
HERE IS THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT HAND DRAWN BY ME. YOU CAN VIEW IT AT MY ONLINE PORTFOLIO iamtrebla.carbonmade.com/
What do you think? Do you think this would be a decent replacement to our current UI which has been almost the same in the past years? Comment your thoughts below OR on our Facebook post at fb.com/amepigg

Big Brother: New House Details!
It's here! The official Season 3 house of Pigg's most anticipated reality game show is finished. Big Brother Ameba Pigg's new house may not have been renovated from down up, but it is sure different from the second season's Red and Black theme.
The house's color may have the most impact on the game this season as the colors symbolize one of the season's main twists: Division. The house is made up of two sections - The Green Loft and the Green Cottage. Both are identical in furniture and shape, and share the same Diary Room, Bedroom, and Garden. Notice that there is also only one kitchen present - it can either be due to a twist or budget cuts from the production (hint, it's the latter).
You can check out an interactive tour of the new house at HERE at our website. The house is sponsored by Meow Pigg and other previous Big Brother players. The game is sponsored by The Piggiots. Watch the drama happen this April 2014!
Pigg "Celebrities"
This is all thrown together all of a sudden, but here is a quick do's and dont's on becoming a Pigg 'Celebrity' (or however aspiring 'celebrities' proclaim so).
DON'T S: First and for most, don't be ridiculous. Attention seeking was never a way to be famous. It might have worked on a few people last year (can't point out names), it's the least you want to do.
That plus pity posts will get you famous - for being embarrassing.

DO'S: Do something that makes a difference. Entertain, be nice, make something interesting for the Pigg community. Giveaways work if you really want to be a so called 'celebrity'.
Disclaimer: This is all for satirical purposes. We don't think there is such thing as a Pigg 'Celeb'.

Never ending PCA's: Kat Alaric
You might remember PCA (Pico Choice Awards) from Ameba Pico: A unofficial awards ceremony started by a family in Pico. It awarded people with different types of award categories like Favorite Male Pico, and Favorite Pico Band. They continued this ritual in Ameba Pigg, and for the second time around in Ameba Pigg, they are doing it once more.
I get to talk to Kat Alaric, who is currently one of the members of PCA's planning team and asked a few questions about it. Here's what she had to say:
Q: Why did you decide to start another Pigg Choice Awards?
A: Almost everyone is starting school or already has started school. So, Bunni Alaric decided to start another PCA event so everyone could be able to vote and join.
Q: How is it like without Michie Alaricworking with you guys?
A: Working without Michie Alaric is really different and sad because it brings memories from our past PCA events. She would always do the polls and pick the nominees as well and decorate the stage. Even though she's not currently working with us, were doing our best to have a better event this time.
Q: Are there any new things to look forward to this time?
A: Hatsune Miku is performing XD. There's also more different categories than the last PCA.
Q: How can we vote?
A: You can vote at this link: http://apps.facebook.com/my-polls/pxfmv. Just click the options you prefer and proceed to the next question and you're done!
Q: When, and where is it?
A: It is in August 4 at 7PM (eastern time zone) and it is going to be held in the Mundial Club.
Q: Anything you want to tell people about PCA?
A: I want to tell the people to support us to keep PCA running! We need your votes as well. Thank you for everyone that has been participating in PCA since 2012!
For more information about the PCA's visit https://www.facebook.com/AmebaPiggChoiceAwards .

An Overview of the "Big Brother" madness in Pigg
Big Brother?
What is that? A larger sibling? Or just a huge sibling? A boss? What is this Big Brother that's been circulating around the Pigg gossips for a while?
October of last year, when AmePigg was just good ol' AmePico Magazine, we started a mini-game show called "AmePico Big Brother", that featured a group of Pico Players that virtually lived inside a house equipped with video recording device for several hours every scheduled date. These players were then dubbed as "Houseguests" and they competed in every day by either themselves or by groups. The winners of these competitions will then be crowned the "Head of Household", who would later nominate two people to be voted out by the public. The person with most votes by the end of voting sessions will be removed from the game and the last one standing will be crowned the winner of Big Brother.
First Season
For the first season, not a lot knew about the competition except for a few people in Pico - which are the ones working for the production team. It's funny to start such strange and foreign game show around people who have no idea what it is. It's going to be challenging, but we pulled it off. The first season was a great hit, and people look forward to it a lot, with many of them wanting a to be in a second season if there would ever be one.
But all of these enthusiasm and excitement went down and slowly faded away as the announcement of Ameba Pico's closure led to the cancellation of the season. It was a devastating moment, and only two episodes were produced.
Second Season
Due to popular demand and the production team's perseverance of creating another season, AmePigg decided to renew AmePico Big Brother for another season, but in this case, it would be called "Big Brother Ameba Pigg". Since people from Pigg/Pico have already heard about it, hundreds of aspiring Pigg players applied but only nine were accepted. Season two had intruders, twists, and a massive finale that involved the finale two to show their faces. In the end, the winner was crowned and received 750 AG and 5 tokens in total. With the season finale, people were asking for another season, and so the team did renew it for another season.
Was AmePigg the first to have Big Brother in Pigg/Pico?
Believe it or not, AmePigg is not the first one to bring the gameshow in the virtual worlds of Pigg and Pico. Rhenjhennel, a Pico Player who was famous among Filipino players, created his own version of Big Brother, following the Filipino format. Another Pico Player named Kerby also planned his owned version of Big Brother called "Young Brother", although his account was locked and it was never continued.
Worldwide
The country to thank for this awesome reality game show is the Netherlands, where Big Brother all started in 1999. Then several countries had their own versions. From being called Big Brother, it was also called Grande Fratello, Gran Hermano, Veliki Brat, and Secret/Loft Story. Over Sixty countries have their own version of Big Brother, but our version decided to follow the United States' format of Big Brother, with competitions and where the houseguests are allowed to discuss who they'd like to nominate and such.
Season Three
Our lips are sealed for what's in store for Season three. But you can audition and apply early via our website here.

Piggers is here!
The homepage let's you take a first look of what's happening inside the community and encourages you to register to view more of it. You can actually register via your Facebook Account, but you can also register the long and safer way - via email.
The homepage when signed it is pretty impressive and the eye candy Pigg based buttons surely give the website that "Pigg world" feel to the people. Although scrolling might be a little chunky and heavy, the overall design of the website is great. At the sidebar is where you can see different things (including online buddies, "featured" members and recent logins. We also noticed that GIFS are supported in this website which is a great thing. That's all we can say for now because you have to discover the website for yourself, and we do to! (Excitement, I just s*at my pants)

"Line Play" Game Review
Ameba Pigg is a very adorable and addicting game as we all know. But sometimes, it can get annoying because it's all in Japanese and we are not able to access the game to its fullest because of that. Sometimes, it also gets repetitive and boring when it comes to updates and new challenges (whether in fishing or casino slots). Although it has its cons, we still play it because we are so far still not able to find a game that is as fun, colorful and kawaii as Ameba Pigg.
Just recently as I was scrolling to find new apps for my phone, I stumbled upon this game called "Line Play". It really intrigued and got my attention because the icon for it looked pretty neat (An avatar and some lush outdoor cartoon area similar to Pigg's). The screenshots for it looked interesting and so I tried playing it. Guess what? I am no longer productive as I have been playing this for hours. Perfect time waster!
Line Play is from a Japanese company called "Line Naver" which makes apps for smartphones (Oh, you Japan; why do you have to make such addicting kawaii games all the time?) It's concept is interestingly similar to Ameba Pigg's (Did they like, get the idea from them? who knows!) Although it still has it's differences that distinguishes it to be a different game.
SIMILARITIES
Line Play describes itself to be a game to "Express yourself through your avatar while travelling with friends and chatting" just like Ameba Pigg. And as I have played it so far, this game doesn't disappoint and did a good job of "expressing ones self through avatars". Its avatars are physically similar that of Pigg's but the whole structure of the avatars are much taller and slim (and with a little less face customization than Pigg.) There is also a great option which allows you to, instead of a girl or boy, create an animal avatar which you can equally dress up like boy and girl counterparts.
To be able to decorate and unleash your inner interior designer is also great! A lot of high end looking and shockingly Pigg similar things (Like blocks) are available for you to tinker with. You can visit your friends' rooms and interact with their furniture (Take a bath in their house, they won't know!). You can also take a peek on their diary located somewhere in their house. This function lets you post daily photos or journal entries where anyone can comment or like (But I think there's an option of turning that function off.)
DIFFERENCES
While Line Play and Ameba Pigg are both equally eye-candies and full of furniture and clothes to be your unique self, this next thing will really tell Ameba Pigg and Line Play apart. In Line Naver (as well as Ameba Pigg), there are rooms in which people can interact and go to depending on your interest, country or whatever you like (age, sexual orientation, random groups to seperate your self from the "boring rest of the world"). BUT in Play Line, these areas are not much... how do we say this... "Go-able", in a way that the areas aren't ACTUALLY AREAS your avatar can go to, but plainly a chatroom where you can interact with people who enter that certain area. Pretty boring, isn't it? But then again, Line Play has to seperate itself from the rest, right? This feature comes really handy though when you're out of the house and just want to communicate with friends and what not.
Another difference is that in your rooms, you cannot actually communicate with people unlike in Ameba Pigg. but you can leave comments if you'd like to. But the biggest difference in my personal view is the fact that LINE PLAY is an app-only game and is not accessible in the computer world (yet, hopefully.) Ameba Pigg can be accessed in both PC and Mobile worlds, but the app is pretty disappointing and dull as of now, so the app doesn't actually count as part of the Ameba Pigg fun experience.
Overall, the app is fun and a must try especially if you are fond of playing Pigg because this will get you hooked at least for a couple of weeks. It is available on the App Store and Google Play. Send us your thoughts at our Facebook Page and visit Line Play's Website.

News Today: Did you know that there's a new page around the Pigg Community which ranks Pigg celebrities, pages, groups and talent? Check out Pigg World Records!
They currently ranked us (AmePigg Magazine) as the NUMBER ONE Pigg Page Organization which flatters me so much! I thought no one would actually appreciate our works, but I stand corrected. This actually made me happy that people DO actually care about the work we do. We really value that.

AmePigg Big Brother Information

It was September of last year when we, The AmePico Team, announced that we will be making our own version of a worldwide popular reality show series where people are on confinement for days while being captured 24/7 on extreme situations. The AmePico Big Brother was highly anticipated and more than a hundred people audition to be a part of the Pico Game.
Among those hopefuls, 15 were picked for pre-elimination, and only 8 actually got in the real game itself. These people were watched by the people start fights, compete and do crazy things while inside the house. It was a fun experience for them although this experience did not last long because while the game was ongoing, Pico (The game where Big Brother is being held), announced that they will be closing the game. The season was cancelled due to the fact that the prize would not be given anways so there was no use of playing the game. Everyone was sad not only because of the cancellation of Big Brother, but also because of the Closure of Pico itself.

But now that a lot of Pico players migrated in Pigg, A second season is upcoming and is again highly anticipated. AmePigg Big Brother is the second season of the AmePico/Pigg series. It will be held in Pigg and currently, we are looking for hopefuls to be in the contest! In this blog, there is a tab where you can audition to play in the game! Visit the "AMEPIGG BIG BROTHER" tab to audition!
Schedule of game was pushed back from April to June because the server where the house is located at is currently experiencing some problems and we are still waiting until it is fixed. If not fixed until June (which hopefully will not happen), We will find another way to play the game.

For this season, there will be seperate Youtube Videos for Competition/Nomination and Daily Life of the housemates inside the hosue for further understanding of the game. More information will be posted in the AMEPIGG BIG BROTHER TAB regarding how it will all work out
WE ARE HIRING!
We are in need of Photographers, Writers, Plotline Writing Assistants and Record men! If you're interested, please contact us via Facebook messages. DO NOT APPLY if you are applying to be a housemate.

Put Jellyfish on your Aquarium Window!
BAHASA INDONESIA TRANSLATION AND TAGALOG TRANSLATION AVAILABLE!
Isn't it lovely that Pigg has wall sized aquariums? But it's upsetting that we do not know how to put fishes in them! Now we're all stuck with a giant wall bowl with out any creatures. But we have a solution for that! In this tutorial (Originally made by Kat Alaric via Piggpals), We are going to show you how to put jellyfishes inside your aquarium!
PROCEDURE ONE
So first you need to have gotten AT LEAST 30 of them )Bummer, go crazy fishing mode!) in order to exchange them.
1. Go to travel (Via Door button)
2.Click the icon that says "SHOP"
3.Click the man with blue-ish hair
4.Click on the jellyfish
5.Click the pink button under it
(NOTE THAT YOU NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST 30. Thirty for each jellyfish you want to put in fish tank. We know it's time consuming, but hey it's worth a shot!)

PROCEDURE 2
Now this is HOW to actually put them IN your fish tank.
First you needed to exchange them at the fish shop which I showed how to do that in the before tutorial.
1. Go to decor
2. Click the fish tank window you want
3.Click the pink button next to the number of fish you have
4. Exit the tiny window
5. Exit the decor window
AND NOW YOU'RE DONE!
Enjoy those little jelly creatures swimming around your wall fish tank. Watch out for those stingers!
